USA Archery membership is required to participate in this event. Visit www.usaarchery.org for membership information. Awards will be presented immediately following the event's conclusion on the second day once all scorecards are verified.

Registration: Registrations will only be taken online though USA Archery's Sport80 portal and are not complete without payment. Registration is first come, first served and will close on August 4th or when full, whichever comes first. Some bales at certain distances may fill before others, please see notice of full categories and distances below as we are aware of them. No walk up registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. Out of state archers are welcome to attend however they may not shoot for State Championship awards. Separate awards will be available for out of state guests. The state of your residence, not your archery club's location, is used in determining in-state eligibility.

Check-In: Please find the check-in table when you arrive to find your lane assignment, receive your quiver tag, and proceed to bow inspections. Please plan to arrive no later than 10:30am for check in.

Practice: The range will be open for unofficial practice on Friday evening, August 9th from 5:00pm-7:30pm. There will be no unofficial practice on the days of the event. Two ends of official practice will start immediately after the opening ceremonies and announcements each day of competition.

Rules: All FITA rules and regulations will apply. USA Archery rules and dress code will be in effect. Dress code will be strictly enforced (enclosed shoes, no camo clothing, shorts and skirts must be mid-thigh length, no sleeveless shirts, etc). Go to www.usaarchery.org for full details. Simple calculators are welcome during scoring, however no other electronic devices are allowed past the waiting line. Parents and spectators are not allowed in the archer zone at any time during the event, and coaches must have USA Archery coach credentials to enter the archer area.

Food/Drinks: Food, drinks and cold treats will be available from on-site food truck vendors each day. Exact vendors will be determined over the summer and links to their menus will be provided in advance. Please support these locally owned and operated vendors by purchasing some delicious lunch, snacks and treats while you are at the range! Fast food and other restaurants are available about 15-20 minutes drive away from the complex. Please bring plenty of water, there is no running water on site!

Overnight Accommodations: A group rate has been set up for the nearest hotel to the event location, the Holiday Inn Express Brandermill, which is about 15 minutes from the field. The group rate is $145/night for a double queen room and includes a buffet breakfast and high speed internet. To book this rate, call the hotel directly at (804) 744-7303.

Facilities: This event will take place on field #8 at the Clover Hill Athletic Complex. See the map of the complex at the bottom of this page. No seating is available; please bring your own folding or camp-style chair for all archers and spectators. There is no shade so use of canopies is advised, however please try to limit the number of spectator pop-up canopies by sharing with other families. Several portable toilets will be available on site, there is no running water. This location is fully handicapped accessible.

Inclement Weather: Archery generally takes place rain or shine. With a two day event, there is no rain date planned as we expect to be able to get some amount of shooting in during the two days. If severe weather happens any time after the scoring has already begun, the shooting may be delayed and/or ended early depending on the judges’ and officials’ safety determinations.

Refunds: We are sorry but no refunds will be offered for this event. You may be able to transfer your registration to another archer if you are unable to attend. Please send us an email to inquire about transferring your spot.
